Embodied

experiences

What really is embodied movement?

This is a balance. Simply, if masculine nature is structured and more linear, feminine nature is unstructured and more circular, fluid. When we live in a world of structure, sometimes need the unstructured, the wild, unknown and the curious, the feminine nature that is in all of us.

We get fluid, we get curious, we get personal, we get intimate, we get real, so you are free to feel everything that is you, adaptable and in flow with yourself and the world around you.

For all bodies, all genders, all ages, all emotions, all backgrounds, here to explore you in all your radiance.

  • “What would it be like to not rush? To pause? And listen to the space in between to learn about ourselves from a sensory dialogue. What emerges when we rest, and when we play?"

    spring 2025

    7 days 6 nights + 3 daily vegetarian meals

This is a retreat of somatic exploration, to connect, to listen, to pause, to connect to desire and play, to see what reveals itself when we fully give ourselves space to be.

Full immersion experience to be with volcano and ocean and sand to listen and become curious. We will move, dance, make art, write, from an inspired place. This retreat is for people who have felt disconnected from land, who are seeking resource, community and a place to be in deep exploration with land.

  • We will explore the senses, move from a place of intuition and inspiration, inviting what it means to connect in space with other people. Starting with stillness and allowing the music to take us on a journey to SHAKE, MOVE, BE SILLY, STOMP, CRY, LAUGH, SING, YELL, BE SILENT, letting your primal instincts unravel; sealing our time together in communal prayer. This is a human practice, a somatic practice, a connection practice, a free movement practice for all bodies. Honoring the wild, the animal, the human, with a lil’ boogie.

  • Take time for yourself, to connect to your body exactly where it is. We'll start with body awareness to regulate the nervous system, then transition into flowing movement. Sealing the class, we'll melt into restorative poses and guided visualizations to calm the mind and ease the heart. This class is inspired by the ancient teachings in India of Yoga, Tantra, the wisdom of somatic embodiment, and honoring our relationship with the land and the elements. Create space to feel fully supported, nourished, loving in the heart and sweet in the soul.
